Students of Ashley High School and St. Leo’s High School are soliciting this week for the March of Dimes. They will make their returns on Sunday et 2. p.m. to the borough building.

       Opening Game Will Be Played Tonight at CYC

These cheerleaders of St. Leo’s High School, Ashley, will lead the rooting for their basketball team in a game tonight with St. Mary’s High School in the Catholic League Opener for both teams. The contest will be held at 8 ‘0Clock at the Catholic Youth Center, Wilkes-Barre. It will be preceded by a junior varsity game at 6:45. St. Leo’s team will play it’s home opening game Monday night against St. Vincent’s High School’s basketball team of Plymouth.
